Spectator Rules
Stay at least 30 feet away from players at all times.
DO NOT give players advice.
No Private Conversations: Avoid private discussions with your player as these will be viewed as giving advice during the round.
Make sure cell phones are on silent.
YOU ARE NOT A RULES OFFICIAL. The coaches are the rules officials.
Don’t linger. There are other groups playing. If you stand around in the fairway or in front of the putting green this will hold up play.
Please be courteous to all players and coaches.
Respect the golf course.
WARNING POLICY: If spectators are not following the rules, they will be given one warning. After that the Region 5 coaches have the right to ask spectators that are not following rules to leave.
Pace of Play
The easiest way to stay on pace is to walk quickly between shots and holes. Visit as you walk.
Play ready golf. Be ready to hit when it is your turn and remember you don't have to wait to be the furthest from the hole as long as you aren't disrupting another players' shot.
You have 3 minutes to search for lost or OB balls.
If you aren't sure if you will find your ball, play a provisional and tell your playing partners that is what you are doing.
PRO TIP: If you aren't waiting on the group in front of you at the tee box then you are likely behind pace.
